Urban Brand New Day

Yihaaa... second semester has already come and honestly I really really wait this moment. I was so bored with long holiday almost 1,5 months! I had no idea more to spend it, so back to college was my first waiting list. Moreover, I was missing someone so much :)

The subjects in this semester start to get closer to my major, urban planning. There are Space Interpretations, Residences, and as I've said before in my old posting, Urban Planning is not only about planning theory of "Urban" but also business, economics, etc. It's proofed now by several subjects such as Introduction of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and surprisingly, I also must learn geology, exactly Environment Geology. Wow, I have read the article that urban planning learns all aspects, it is true I think..

forgetting ITB, I realize my university is not bad actually. I've been searching and googling, Urban and Regional Undip is the second public university which get A for accreditation besides ITB. UGM, UNS, and Unibraw until now still get B for their Urban and Regional Planning Majors. My lecturer also said I won't regret studying in Undip because Undip has got a lot of experiences in Urban Planning. I have big opportunity to be the best anywhere. Life must go on, right?

Ah, I remember, my friend, Enny, told me a good article about Ridwan Kamil. He's a successful person in Architect. He owns his company which is consultant of architect and urban design named Urbane Indonesia. I think this company is so amazing because it has a lot of creations in many countries. For example Marina Bay in Singapore. Btw, I'm so glad knowing this article because of the program at Urbane Indonesia: Urbane Fellowship Program. This program allows all architect and (in fact this is exactly what I'm glad for!) Urban Planning students around Indonesia to get a free of charge going abroad to survey the world city for approximately 1 months. Finally, after both fellowship programs before which allowed only architect student, now the third gives a chance to Urban Planning student to join in. What a happy news! :))

Now, It's time to pass through my life in Urban and Regional Planning and be the best. Hopefully I always be happy and healthy and finally I could join Urbane Fellowship Program in my fifth semester. Amin..
